This is the politic statement said of one OPM Commander area in Biak,Papua when he taken consolidation Mambruk troops of OPM January 20, 2007

Although Indonesian Government done many efforts and polices to stop and cleans OPM activities, but this organisation still alive from 1965 until now. We have goals, which are to protest present Indonesian Authority In West Papua. Indonesian did invade West Papua in 1963 to take West Papua territory under control of Indonesian. We the OPM never recognises West Papua part of Indonesian and we fight for exit West Papua from Indonesian. We Knew all of what Indonesian has done to force West Papua in to Indonesian authority.

In 1965, the OPM revolt was to oppose Indonesian and to show the International Community about this illegal annexation and the Indonesian actions for West Papua people when it did the ‘free voice’ act of choice (PEPERA) 1969. PEPERA 1969 was done in 1969 according to New York Agreement 1962, but Indonesian had already invaded West Papua and done human-rights crimes against many West Papuan, through 1963-1969. In this times Papua people had no rights to do democratically participate in New York Agreement 1962, ‘Act of Free Choice, but this time Papua people were under the brut force of Indonesian Weapons and forced to said join the Indonesian Authority.

We OPM, today continue to protest hhuman-rightscrimes done by Indonesian in which we were coerced into, for the New York Agreement 1962 implementation. The implementation of New York Agreement 1962 oorchestratedby Indonesia Under UN was not fair, not democratic according to International norms in particular the one of self determination.

We the OPM: never recognised the Indonesian Authority and the two International laws cconcerning West Papua is New York Agreement 1962 and Contract laws between Indonesian and American to permit present of PT. Freeport in West Papua 1967.

The New York Agreement 1962 did give rights to West Papuans, for self determination but under of Indonesian weapons (1024) Papua people were forced join Indonesian under the authority of UN. So we feel, this is unfinished, the Self Determination for West Papuans, as given under The New York Agreement 1962, And Indonesia and American signed the new laws to permit PT. Freeport do operation in West Papua. So Papua people very confused about International policy for West Papua.

We the OPM will never to surrender to fight the International and Indonesian wrongs brought to West PPapua We OPM until now, still fights to ask the West Papua Status at the UN.

We the OPM, are very sad at the present role of UN, which has legitimised hhuman-rightcrimes by Indonesia and to allow the illegal annexation West Papua in to Indonesian, by PEPERA 1969.

Now, we OPM ask, again, for support from the international organisations & actions to help clarify the status of West Papua. We ask for the activities of International organisation to ask the politic status of West Papua - this is one a part of OPM aactivities to legitimise our Country legally.

International dialogue (UN) is one solution to the end of West Papua problems. So far we OPM are fighting to get International dialogue (UN) but UN still it’s closed eyes on the errors of it’s past, which lead to West Papua integration to Indonesian.
